QinetiQ were happy to be able to provide a venue for a recent APMP UK Roadshow in Bristol as well as hosting a couple of events at our Farnborough site a few years ago.

The key benefit in hosting events is that it promotes QinetiQ to other APMP UK members enabling us to demonstrate the commitment that we make to our employees as we invest in their professional development which helps with staff retention and recruitment.  At each event there was the opportunity to provide the attendees with an overview of QinetiQ, which raises awareness of our brand.

We got a couple of junior members of our bid team to help coordinate the organisation of the event at our site which was a development opportunity for them as they gained experience in event management, external stakeholder management and arranging visitor bookings; all things that are needed in bid management.

As an APMP corporate member who benefits from the variety of APMP UK events that are available, it was great to be able to help by providing a venue, without costing QinetiQ any money.  In fact, hosting the event saved on travel costs for our employees!
