We were created as a merger between the former Procurement Focus Group and Social value Focus Group, combining the agenda of both. Legacy resources from these groups are still available on the website, as well as a growing menu of new content.

Objective

Public sector bidding (B2G) in the UK has distinct characteristics compared to private sector business to business (B2B) proposals, including statutory procurement regulations, compliance requirements, social value obligations, and bidding transparency. Because of these differences, our group aims to help members navigate this more regulated and structured bidding environment, as well as influencing and shaping better procurement practices.
